FAB Frenzy: Valentine's Day RELOADED

This past week was the intended inaugural event for FAB Frenzy. Due to the inclement weather the event was cancelled on February 13th. Seven weeks ago my business partner, Tiffany Reid of Imago Dei Boutique, and I collaborated to form a shopping event in the Raleigh area. Tiffany and I are both small business owners of fashion and beauty businesses. We formed FAB (Fashion and Beauty) Frenzy to give a consistent platform for small businesses to generate revenue. FAB will host a Sip and Shop every first Thursday of each month in 2014. (February 20, March 6, May 8, June 5, September 4, October 2, November 6). Three times out of the year FAB will host a FAB Frenzy Beauty Bazaar, a day long shopping experience combining shopping, fashion shows, entertainment, advice on fashion and beauty, food and girl time! (April 5, August 2, December 6).
FAB General Admission: $15 in advance $20 at the event (On February 20th the admission is $7.00)
FAB VIP membership: membership is $47 for the entire year and allows you to get into each FAB sip and shop event for $5 in advance and FAB beauty bazaars for $10 in advance. (Members receive a VIP shopping cards for exclusive vendor discounts, a shopping SWAG bag, VIP seating and entry and one guest entry per event at a discounted price)
More than 20 exhibitors from around the city will be at the Woman’s Club of Raleigh on Thursday, February 20, 2014 for “Valentine’s Day Girl’s Night Out RELOADED” Sip & Shop fundraiser benefiting Raleigh Parks and Recreation. This four hour shopping event showcases local vendors offering the latest in fashion, health, beauty, relationship counseling, matchmaking, home decor trends, and a host of other handmade unique finds.
FAB is expecting more than 150 shoppers at the event, which will run from 5:00pm- 9:00pm at the Woman’s Club of Raleigh located at 3300 Women's Club Drive, Raleigh, NC 27612.
“We are thrilled to have unique vendors exhibiting at the event and we look forward to FAB growing exponentially over the next few months. FAB is an opportunity to shop and support local vendors while benefiting local charities, something we are extremely passionate about. Our goal is to make FAB an annual tradition for many and attract shoppers from across the state,” said Tiffany Reid, a co-hostess and owner of Imago Dei Boutique. “This event does two-fold, in one instance it helps to simulate the economic growth of small businesses by producing a platform for exposure and financial sustainability and two, it seeks to strengthen the non-profits in our community with financial support,” said April Clark, CEO of Iconic Lifestyle Inc.
The charity of choice is Raleigh Parks and Recreations and its general scholarship fund for children in need of assistance with after school and extra curricular programs and activities.
