April Clark is an accomplished entrepreneur, author, and fashion visionary whose journey from blogger to business owner has inspired countless young creatives. In 2017, April founded Miss April Fashion Girl, a pre-teen brand dedicated to teaching fashion design through engaging sewing classes and camps. Her passion for empowering youth led her to open a flagship sewing studio and retail store in Talladega, Alabama, in 2021, bridging a gap in the community and nurturing the next generation of designers.

Before becoming a celebrated children’s clothing and toy designer, April began her career as a fashion blogger, captivating readers with her insights on style and trends. She gained national recognition through appearances on The Wendy Williams Show and features in Style Watch Magazine, while her editorial finesse shone as Fashion Editor for Wake Living Magazine. April has been lauded as one of the 25 Most Stylish People in Raleigh, NC, by Carolina Style Magazine and profiled in Midtown Magazine and Cary Magazine.

With her effortless blend of style and business acumen, April expanded her career into television, serving as a style contributor for My Carolina Talk on CBS North Carolina. Her portfolio also includes collaborations as a stylist for Crabtree Valley Mall, one of the top 100 shopping destinations in the United States.

Drawing on her rich fashion background, April now channels her creativity into writing upper-middle-grade fiction. Her upcoming series, Best Fashion Friends, blends her passion for fashion and storytelling, offering relatable, inspiring tales for young readers.

April continues to design with heart and purpose, embodying her grandmother’s mantra: “You can do anything you put your mind to.”
