Iconic Luxury Nail Colour: What Makes Our Nail Polish Vegan
June 21, 2015 – April Bush
Two years ago, Iconic Luxury Nail Colour was created by April Clark, CEO and fashion & beauty aficionado. Iconic Luxury Nail Colour was created out of April's love for beauty products, fashion and style. She wanted to create collections much like a fashion designer would infusing fashion and beauty, thus the tag line "Where Couture Fashion, Meets Couture Nails". Not only is it important that the color selection be fashion forward, but the polish be as safe, helthy and cruelty-free as possible.
Recently, Iconic Luxury Nail Colour was vetted by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) we are certified cruelty-free and vegan. Beauty without Bunnies is a campaign for compassionate shoppers who support cosmetics companies that are cruelty-free. In addition, Iconic is 5 free which means it is free from formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), and toulune.
In this post we will discuss what make Iconic Luxury Nail Colour Vegan. First, we do not test our products on animals, this obviously makes us vegan. However, any vegan cosmetic product are products that are not infused with any animal products. Typical vegran-free products do not have these ingredients:
- Beeswax
- Collagen
- Carmine
- Gunine
- Lanolin
- Keratin
- Squaline
Be mindful that a company can be cruelty-free but not vegan!
